Last week of school
25.September.2009 (Friday) - Graduation Ceremony
Not last week of school,
But must talk about.
It was in the afternoon.
We had to assemble in the parade square 1st,
Then went to the hall.
The sitting arrangement was exam style,
1st person in front, then last person also in front, next to index no.1.
So I was sitting next to Li Zhu.
We were given this brochure thing.
There were Mdm Liew's, Mr Pah's and a student's speeches.
Then, there was this video with all sec4s pics.
There was this photo of LFAFF that Cher gave them!!! Uber shocked to see it!
Next was the form teacher presenting the class pic and a laminated card to everyone in the class.
Mine was kind of personal since Mr Chew knew me last year.
And the class pic is SO NICE!!!
I'm sure it leaves plenty of lovely memories for some~~~
After that was the sing-along session.
First song "That's What Friends Are For",
Second Song "If We Hold On Together".
Rebecca and I were like shouting out the songs!!!
So high!!!
(I have been self highing since early morning...)
The whole class held hands and were swinging to the songs...
While singing the school song, I almost cried.
Lol, too emotional la.
Very happy, everyone sang VERY LOUDLY.
Then when dismissed, took lots of photos,
Class photos in hall,
Hist class photo in parade square...
Moving on to last week of school...
List of the days we had our last lesson:
Tuesday - Last bio lesson
Wednesday - Last PE and pure hist lesson
Thursday - Last phy lesson (last e.geog lesson was cancelled)
Friday - Last chem, maths, eng and SS lesson
On wednesday, we wore class tee for PE.
The girls played captains ball in sports hall.
The accident: I smashed myself against the wall.
Not purposely...
Rebecca and I banged into each other while running after the ball.
Judging by the direction of my running,
It should have been the right side of my body getting injured.
So I dunno how I ended up with the left side of my body against the wall.
I just knew that one moment, blackout, stars above my head,
And everyone crowding around me.
Thanks everyone, and Shili for staying with me.
The left side of my face still hurts a little,
And my left hand hurts.
Other than that, I'm fine.
=D
Kinda funny that ppl kept going "James..." ><
Last day of school.
Woke up feeling sad.
That I won't be able to share the same classroom with my lovely class after this day.
I'm going to miss the noisy and hilarious pair next to me,
And every other soul around me. (Cannot think now)
You guys have changed my life!!!
And I must thank the few who have been great listeners to my problems... xD
To me, this was a sad day, yet passed happily.
(On thurs, ms tan's talking also almost made me cry. Too teary lurh.)
We supposedly sang the school song louder.
Ms Siva came to our class to talk to us,
And gave us a note and a pen.
Then Mr Chew also talked to us.
Ms Yeo came in scolding us about the linear law graph in our mock exam.
And she was trying not to smile while scolding us...Haha!
Mt Cheng also, PMS arh. Suddenly so fierce on our last day. =.=
The only spoiler was the report book crap. Zzz.
For SS lesson, Mdm Yeo dismissed us half an hour earlier.
And those who stayed back played water bombs and captains ball!!!
It was very fun, as can be seen from the facebook photos.
I couldn't resist joining in for the captains ball despite my injured left hand.
I love defending,
And excuse me,
It's impossible for me, the catcher, to jump when the defenders keep moving back.
Seriously.
Tsk.
Oh well, happily passed the day.
But I still can't believe I'm never going to hear Huiting's contagious laughter again.
It's hard not to miss her when you have had her for a table partner for 4 years.

Interesting sights at Changi Airport
Here are some interesting photos we took at Changi Airport:
They have really cool looking recycling bins.
Though I was told that newspaper thingy is not true at all...
It was Hari Raya period, hence the really nice deco.
This was in terminal 1.
About the airports that were first set up... blah blah blah.
This was the one I totally couldn't stop laughing about.
We were at terminal 2, and we walked past Fish and Co.
Then we saw this sign on the side entrance,
And burst out laughing.
So funny!!!

Soccer and more!
Sidetrack a bit...

Now, back to the topic.
For PE lesson today, we played soccer!!!
Girls had the choice between 3 sports: Netball, soccer and basketball.
In the end, us 402 girls who were too lazy to move ended up playing soccer.
13 of us, plus Nasuha who joined us.
Went to sports hall to play cos the guys were using the street soccer courts we were supposed to play at...
It was a very funny and tiring games.
I think we will be trashed if we were to play against the guys,
So thank goodness we were not.
I collided into Jiayun twice,
And my team (Man U) won the other team (Chelsea) with the score of 5-3!!!
xD
2 goals scored by Nasuha, 1 by Becca, and 2 by Huiting.
I ended up goalkeeping,
And saved all 3 shots. *beams*
The last one shot by Daryl was scary.
She asked Jolene to pass to her,
Then she dribbled all the way till she was in front of me,
And she shot.
I was shocked!!!
But still, very happy!!!
Last week's PE was also very fun.
We played captains ball,
And my team was all the screaming people (Xiaoqi, Huiting, Vanessa, Shili...And maybe me.),
So you can imagine how the game went.
We were playing within our own class,
And I love to play with 402 girls!!!
I never fail to laugh like crazy when playing with our girls...
=)))
Moving on to other stuff...
I still can't decide whether to go for the grad night.
Problem is, I want to go for grad night,
But I also want to go for class chalet,
So I can't afford both.
How???
Tsk tsk.
Although I did well for prelims,
I can't help feeling very worried about my O's.
I think not having performed up to expectations for PSLE
Has become a haunting memory.
I keep worrying that just like when I was in pri 6,
If I do too well for prelims,
Then I will not do well for the big thing, the O's.
I don't wish to disappoint myself and the teachers again.
And my A1s for prelims are not high ones,
Mostly just borderline.
Which makes me even more worried.
=(
I don't understand why everyone seems to be looking forward to a long study break.
Personally, I don't anticipate the study break at all.
Firstly, studying at home is the most unproductive thing ever,
Because there are just simply too many distractions.
Secondly, I'm going to miss everyone lots!!!
I really don't look forward to this school term ending.
Seriously, I can't bear to imagine how it will be like
Without the squabbling pair next to me to make me laugh,
Without lessons together with 402 and the teachers,
Without all the fun times the class share together...
Being with 402 has become a part of me,
And it's so hard to say goodbye.
Of course, not to forget my friends from other classes...
I'm gonna miss everybody so much!!!

For PE lesson today, we played soccer!!!

Our 200th day
It has not been an easy journey,
Having to face all the challenges...
But we have made it till today,
And will continue to live on together forever and ever!!!
Our trip to Changi Airport on Friday was a fun one.

I got a haircut on tuesday.
Not too different, just slightly shorter.
My mum insist that I get my hair rebonded this year end.
I wonder where is she going to get the money for that...
My cute little baby cousin got earholes recently.
When I called to ask her about it,
She tole me that she didn't cry,
And it was not painful at all.
True or false, figure it out yourselves.
And I bawled my eyes out when I got my earholes at 3 years old...ahem.

Because there isn't any 13th month and so on...
I realised that the dates this year very cool.
There was also 070809!!!
I'm very proud of myself this holidays,
Because I'm not slacking!
I have no idea how many days is it to O Levels,
And I don't feel like counting.
I'm going to work very hard!!!

I realised that having a boyfriend don't equal to bad news.
Because, having a boyfriend is just like having a best friend.
To me, he's my boyfriend, and my best friend.
A friend,
Who understands me very well,
Is tolerant of my tantrums,
A great listener,
And a support I can't live without.
Together,
We have faced many ups and downs in life.
We have given each other the motivation to work hard,
And make up for each other's shortcomings.
When it comes to studies,
We are each other's tutors,
Because we each have subjects we are strong at and the other person is weak at.
So, having him has meant that
Help is always a call away,
Falling is not a problem because there is always someone to catch me.
Of course,
I don't mean to say that all my other friends are not important to me.
It's just that he is a better than best friend...
To all lovers in the world,
Having a person to love is the greatest gift ever.
Be tolerant of each other,
And be patient with each other.
Despite all challenges,
Don't give up,
Because there's your loved one accompanying you on this tough journey,
And not giving up on you.
Today is the 2nd day of the 3 days separation.
Though it's tough,
But I'll persist till then!
