I don't know why I'm so tired.

Went to toa payoh with mum and sis.
Bought a doughmaker at courts,
And bought shoes and shirt for chinese new year.
Almost fell asleep on the bus,
And wished that James was there...

Also dunno why I so tired.

Though it's still too early to sleep.

That's like something known by everyone who knows us.
And here I am,
Dedicating a whole post to James and I again.

I was so super duper happy that I got the same raw L1R5 as James,
That I just hugged him in the hall that day,
And almost cried.
So happy!!!
That's exactly what I've been wishing for,
For us to get the same raw L1R5!!!

On wednesday,
Went to ajc open house with my mum and ming jing.
People who wonder why james suddenly wanted to go,
It's because I pleaded him to!
So that even if cannot be with him,
Still can see him for a while...

On thursday,
We took a walk around nyjc,
Which is really big and nice!
Which is why it's my 3rd choice.
Then we took the circle line to serangoon,
Then north east line to dhoby ghaut,
And north south line to city hall.
Went to shop at suntec city.
Ate cup noodle for lunch.
Seriously, I'm obsessed with cup noodle.
Very yummy!
Bought sushi at carrefour,
And ate at an outdoor garden we discovered at the third floor.
James never like raw and uncooked stuff,
So eating salmon sushi was a new thing for him.
But he kinda liked it, so I'm glad!

Took east west line from city hall to paya lebar,
Then walked to my sis's school to fetch her.
She was very happy to see James!
She really likes James, I'm so glad.
So we took the bus home,
Then took pictures at a void deck.
We were wearing the same coloured shirt!
I wore the green shirt mel and sian bought for me...
Too bad, James haven't email me the photos,
Or else I'll post them here.

Yesterday (saturday),
We went to pasir ris.
I treated him to burger king,
And he kept wanting to return me the money.
=.= tsk.
As usual, I think I bought too much food.
We were so bloated.
Went to popular, and I bought an economics book.
Too bored, so wanted to buy something to read.
Then went to library for a while,
And took bus88, and alighted at rivervale.
Saw a rat at the bustop, among the shrubs.
Damn gross!!!
Then he sent me back home...
And I sent him a dozen messages to assure him that I'm safe.
Haha!

Missing him now...
I want James!!!

I know people are going to say that this is a very lag post.

The day before we got our results,
I was still fretting.
I was seriously afraid.
You will be too if you expected a 260 aggregate for psle and didn't get it.

So my family,
Who were worried that I'll die of worrying,
Made me go out with them.
Went to temple to pray,
Bought 3 wallets at bugis street,
One for me, other 2 for my grandmas.
Ate lunch at marina square,
Then shopped at suntec city and went home.
Baked brownies at night so that I would be distracted,
Though I was so worried about my results,
And my brownies weren't as tasty as the first time I made them.
=X

The day we got our results,
My mum made me go to the market with her in the morning
So that I'll stop worrying at home.
Then when I reached home,
She allowed me to use the computer.
Then I ate lunch.
And went to school at 1pm.

Freaked out with everyone in school.
Haha.
But I feel that it's better to freak out in school with everyone else in school
Than to freak out on your own at home.
I started crying when I saw 100% pass and distinction for history,
Abd the MSG of 1.00!!!
Then so proud of 402,
Cos so many of 402 ppl were on the screen!!!
So happy when I saw my name on the screen.
6A1s!!!
I always wished for this...
Wish come true!
Though a bit upset that my darling didn't go on stage with me.
So happy till I cried on the stage...

So we are aiming for AJC.

My last day of working!!!
Though I really miss the auntie,
Who said she's gonna miss me too...
She's really nice,
And because of her, I really love my job.
It's only those ill-mannered students and horrible parents who got on my nerves.

So yesterday (08012010),
Woke up at 6am to fetch sis to school.
And I kept telling my sis there would be a surprise for her.
So we were waiting at the bartley sec bus stop for her surprise,
And her surprise was...James!
Though he made us wait damn long,
And my sis was freaking out over being late for school.
But my sis is really fond of him,
So she was actually very happy to see him.
=)
Sent her to school,
Then James and I went to work together.

Why did James and I go to work together?
Because he was actually helping me work,
As I was leaving at 12.
And I tell you,
My auntie is also very fond of James.
She kept telling me that I must not give him up due to my mum,
And she even asked us when we would we be getting married!!!
Haha! Lol!
I'll definitely invite her to my wedding the next time!

And James is such a darling.
He didn't mind working for me,
So in the end I forced him to take the full salary and not split with me,
Because he deserved it!

There was this horrible parent who came,
And said that we gave her the wrong books.
Apparently, her daughter is in sec1express,
And my auntie gave her the sec1NA books.
So she demanded an exchange.
But the problem was that her child's name was already written on all the books,
So James, as we all know, told her in a straightforward manner
That she should have checked the books when she bought them,
And that we cannot let her exchange since her child's name was already written on the books.
Then that effing mother took out her handphone
And said that she would record everything that James said and let the principal listen.
WTH!!!

I mean, it was my auntie's fault to give the wrong books,
But as a responsible parent,
You would do the checking on your own to ensure you got the right things.
Moreover, we were very busy when she came to purchase the books,
So it was inevitable that mistakes were made.
It's just like if you go shopping and the salesperson had to attend to you quickly
Because there were many people waiting,
You should have the responsibility as the consumer to check you purchased items
And made sure you got the right things.

So, I was so pissed,
And I didn't want James to be scolded anymore,
So I pulled him to the back of the bookshop
And told my auntie to go and handle the situation.
Like seriously,
Why the hell will you want to bother the principal with your nonsense???
And I almost cried,
Because I didn't like it that James got scolded.
So I stayed at the back with him to comfort him...
Argh, that parent didn't have the right to blame everything on us!!!

Then some of the students also didn't have manners,
Shouting and screaming like some beasts.
No decorum at all.
And some students had to make me go back and forth to get the things they wanted.
Couldn't they just tell me everything at once?
I wished I had James' courage to tell the students straight to their faces
To stop making me run around like their maid.
Of course, James didn't say that.
He told the student to tell him everything at one.
=D

Then we had lunch.
And James bought a cup of cold milo for himself
And warm milo for me.
After lunch,
I left for LFAFF gathering. It was around 12:15pm then.

Walked to bartley mrt station,
Took the mrt to yio chu kang.
Met mel and sian,
Then we boarded bus 825 to nad's house.

Nad stayed in tower 3,
And there were 4 towers in her condo.
We had a hard time finding her tower,
And went to every tower, other than hers.
=.=
Finally found tower 3,
And reached nad's house.

Ate pizza, breadstick.
Then while nad went to fetch cher up,
Mel and sian switched on the Wii,
And we started playing.

After cher came up,
We continued playing Wii.
Were playing the mario olympic games,
Which was kinda fun.
My hand eye coordination really sucks.
Tsk.

Had our secret LFAFF gift exchange.
So nad was supposed to get from sian, who didn't bring for her,
Sian got a mario shirt from nad,
Cher for the mickey photo frame and breadou from me,
I got a black and white bag from mel,
And mel got some shoes thingy (i think) from cher.
And mel and sian also got all of us shirts!
I really love mine!!! =)))
Cher also got her belated birthday presents from nad, mel and sian,
So she actually got something from everybody.
And the vongola rings set she brought to show me was also really cool!!!
She was wearing the sky ring as on a necklace.

We bought a birthday cake for cher,
And wanted a surprise for her
By giving her a very belated celebration.
Nad, mel and I were preparing the cake in the kitchen,
Then we brought it out.
Just when mel started singing,
A huge gust of wind blew out the candles,
And it was no longer a surprise anymore...
But anyway, it was still great.
Took photos, and ate the yummy chocolate cake.

Played mario kart, and screamed like crazy.
At first,
I was a total noob, and ended up as 12th, aka the last.
Then we split into teams,
With nad's sis, mel and I in a team,
And sian, cher and nad in the other team.
Improved to 4th position!
And nad's sis is really pro...
Then in the second round,
Nad's sis didn't want to play,
And the teams were mel and I,
Sian and cher and nad.
Mel improved lots and got 1st,
And I did quite well,
Until the last race of the rainbow path.
Seriously,
That one was really scary.
Because it was very easy to fall of the path,
Especially for an amateur like me.
So I ended up last.
Lol.
But the game was really fun,
Because we were screaming shouting like crazy,
Cheering our own teammates on.
Nad was saying that her neighbours are going to complain
About our massive noice pollution. Haha!
Played card games,
Then left nad's house.

Looked for James,
Then took bus 72 with mel, sian and cher.
Sorry james for letting you wait so long!!!

So it was a great day,
With great friends, and patient boyfriend!

I don't want school to start.

I have a phobia of school reopening.
Been reflecting these few days...
I'm not good at adapting to changes.
I had a hard time fitting into new environments.
And I realised that the older I get,
The tougher it gets for me to adapt.
I need a lesson on adaptation skills...
Grr... I think I'll die a lonely death in JC...
The nearer it gets to our prospective school reopen day,
The more I wish for this holiday to drag...
And never end.

I can say that I really miss xinmin.
I don't remember being so upset when i left my primary school.
I thought I would cry, but I didn't.
Yet, it's different in secondary school.
Many times when we had those sentimental things,
I almost cried.
But I tried not to.
Now, I understand why teachers said that secondary school is the period you will never forget,
The school, the teachers, the friends...

My class teachers this year:
An absent, lame, yet intelligent teacher - Mr Chew
A great teacher who counseled me and helped me improve - Ms Yeo
Leaf, ruthless teacher - Mr Lee
Kind, helpful and simply too nice teacher - Ms Tan
Teacher who increased my interest and passion in the subject - Mr Pah
Memorising essays teacher - Mdm Yeo
Lame, and used to be interesting teacher - Mr Wong
Motivating, and commercially entertaining teacher - Mr Tang
Strict, but still a very funny teacher - Mrs Lee

I guess that's all right?
On top of those, I can also never forget these people:
Ms Yap, for funny jokes, and fantastic maths lessons that always draw me in.
Mdm Hanifah, who always have great chats with me about many many things...

Also, my fantastic 402, LFAFF, lib and debate mates!

Sleepy

I woke up at 5am today!
Because the whole family was going with my sis to her school...
Lol, her first year in a new school,
And it's like a family outing.
=.=

So, I was super tired on the bus trip to her school.
We reached at 6.35am,
Though her reporting time is 7.45am.
Tsk.
Btw, my sis successfully enrolled in Northlight School,
And I'm super happy for her.
Finally, she's in a place where she belongs...
=D

Stoned until the teacher made an announcement
For us to report to the school hall.
My sis's school is damn cool,
Because it has a 'east wing' and a 'west wing'.
The school is made up of 2 school buildings,
When those previous 2 schools moved out.
Hence the big school.

My sister is in class 1A2,
And the special thing about their classes is this.
There are classes 1S1, 1T1, 1A1, 1A2, 1R1 and 1R2 for the first years.
Realise that the alphabets form the word 'STAR'?
The S stands for seeker,
T for tracker,
A for adventurer,
And R for ranger.
There's even meaning behind the school uniform's colour.
The white represents the tinkling white star,
And the purple represents the night sky,
Hence the whole idea is that the students are the bright stars shining in darkness.

The principal's speech was very long.
I loved their videos, very touching.
And my sis's teacher seemed nice.
Her name is Ms Pang.
My sister seems to enjoy the new environment,
Though she's still quite shy to make friends.
I'm really very happy for her,
And proud of my little sis.

After that, went to work.
Super lethargic...
Was wishing for a comfy bed to sleep.
And I hate annoying parents who complain about pointless things.
Thank goodness the office staff and my auntie support me.
And oh ya, someone called me auntie.
TSK!
I'm still a pretty young lady ok?

How many of you actually wash your sibling's undergarments?
How many of you do multiple houseworks at home,
Ranging from scrubbing the toilet to scrubbing your clothes,
Mopping the floor to wiping all the windows?
Because I've to do all that,
And my parents don't appreciate my efforts at all.
Instead, they say I'm lazy,
When I do all these daily.
I'm not even spared after a grueling day in school or at work.

My mum acts like she knows everything,
My dad is a bootlicker.
Maybe they should stop thinking they know everything,
Because my goody-two-shoes sister is not as simple as she appears.

Those of you who have nice parents, cherish them.
Because you won't want a control freak for a mother,
A useless bum for a father...
And oh well, my sister is the only comfort at home,
Ganging up with me.

Haiz, I know i'm complaining,
But hey,
How not to when you have parents like mine?
I'm glad I've my sis, and James.
Not to forget, my friends.

02012010 - '02 class gathering!

I just realised that our class 02 gathered on the 2nd day of the year...
Ok, i'm lame.
Just happened to realise that while typing the title...

We were supposed to meet at 1pm outside amk hub's cathay,
But when I reached the cinema at around 12.45pm,
I only saw james.
And I couldn't do anything cos my mum was with me.
=.=
By 1pm, there was darren leong, daniel, james and i.
I think everybody only arrived at about 1.30pm.
Finally decided on watching sherlock holmes,
Which turned out to be good.
Very exciting... =D
My 10bucks was well spent...
An interesting thing to mention:
It was the first time I have seen such a long string of tickets...
Haha!

The movie started at 3.45pm,
So James and I went to the library to return and borrow books from 2-3pm.
We were supposed to meet outside the cinema at 3pm,
But the guys were missing,
So after waiting for a while,
James called them and we went to find them at ntuc.
Our group of 18 people then went for the movie,
Which ended at 6pm.
So we were way behind schedule.
And I was sitting between james and daniel.

For dinner, some people went for steamboat,
While the rest of us went to eat at the coffee shop.
I was the only girl in the coffee shop crowd.
Ate chicken chop hor fan, same for james.
Kinda fun, had interesting conversations that made me laugh like crazy.
^^

While waiting for the steamboat crowd,
The guys went to LAN and came out again (?),
Then we sat at the railing outside the big hawker centre.
After we gathered, james and i detached from the crowd and left.
Sorry people, i had a curfew to meet... argh.
So the rest went to zhiling's house.

On the whole, the gathering was fantastic!
We didn't manage to go to kbox in the end,
But we still enjoyed ourselves!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!!

Didn't manage to blog on the last day of 2009,
But nvm, here's a lengthy post on the first day of 2010!

Today has been a good start to the year for me.
Though I don't have james with me,
I'm learning to enjoy without him around.
No offense my dear!

Woke up at 10 plus.
Actually, I woke up with a shock at 7 plus,
And was like, shit i'm late for work.
Then I remembered that yesterday was my last day of work for the week,
And I fell back into dreamland.
Lol, my sister got a shock when I suddenly sat up,
Then fell back onto bed again.

Mum asked me for the recipes i collected from the back of cornflake boxes,
And we decided to make the brownies.
It was tiring beating the eggs till they turn pale and thick,
But it's definitely more fun then working at the bookshop.
I'm sick of doing the same things everyday...
Baking is my passion!
The end products are really yummy!
I'm so glad,
Cos for once, my mum allowed me to do the things on my own.
So I can safely say that the brownies today were made by me!
Hopefully, I can persuade my mum to let me bring some tmr
So that a lucky few of you can try.

Just ate them all, very nice!

Super happy that my mum allows me to go for the class gathering tomorrow!

Since I slept early last night and didn't watch.

And I'm very proud of myself for learning how to use my new all-in-one printer so quickly.

Was initially pissed with the scanner,
Because scanning a book is a super tough job.
But now, I'm very happy!
