Just a short update of my life here.
We had class outing on monday
To bowling at kovan.
And I got to go!!!
Not that I got permission from my mum though...
But it was fun la,
Because I love bowling
And have not bowled for quite some time.
I got him to learn bowling!!!
Haha, he's becoming kind of pro at it lurh...
But,
I'm aching over now!!!

Then the rest of the week is just school as usual...
With the recent announcement of our relationship,
We now have more freedom in meeting up,
At least without my parents' knowledge.

Our First Date
Sad news first.
I can't go for the class outing!!!
Because I have to tutor my sis for her maf exam
When she is going to forget everything
In 5 minutes time.
So what's the point of me staying at home
When it's not going to make any difference
To her exam grades,
And piss myself off???
ARGH!!!
I hope that some miracle will happen
Because I'm presently trying to psycho my mum
To let me go.
I really want to go!!!
Wish me luck in the negotiation...
Okay, on to the title.
Yes, we finally managed to fulfill our wish
Of going on our 1st date
Before the Chinese O's.
So here's how my day went.
Woke up at 6plus
And went blog surfing.
Which explains all the early tags.
Couldn't sleep,
Simply too excited.
But the thunder was rumbling
And lightning was flashing,
With lots and lots of water falling from the sky.
Raining!!!
I was wishing for it to please stop raining...
Switched off computer at 7plus,
Then went to sleep a while.
Thank goodness the rain stopped,
And the hot sun was shining brightly in the sky.
Washed up at 8,
Then finally settled on the third set of clothing
After arguing with my mum
Over which was nicer.
Messaged him at about 09:15am,
And he was already at the bus stop!
Rushed down, putting on lip gloss on the way.
He was playing psp at the bus stop,
So I sneaked behind him and said
"Hi handsome!"
Hahahahahaha!!!
The bus came,
So didn't have time for him to express his shock.
I tell you,
The bus drivers are cheating a little kid of his money.
He didn't bring his ez-link card
Because his dad took it to top up.
So when he came to my house,
And when we boarded the bus,
He paid by coins.
And the driver says he needs a student pass
To verify that he's a student,
So they made him pay expensive adult pricing!!!
Hello?!
This is called daylight robbery!
Argh.
He's too nice and said never mind.
If it was me,
I would probably have argued with the bus drivers.
Too bad I already went to the upper deck...
And the first driver didn't even know
That there is student pricing!!!
Omg!
Well, that aside,
We took a half an hour long bus trip
And walked from the bus stop to bugis.
On the bus,
It started raining cats and dogs again!
Neither of us brought out umbrella...sobs.
Thankfully,
It became a drizzle when we reached our destination.
I was wearing the ring and earrings he gave me long ago,
And the necklace we both have and wore.
Reached at about 10am,
And we bought custard polo bun and 2 egg tarts
At this shop opposite the temple.
Yummy!!!
Wandered around the mall
With most shops not opened yet
(Except for the foodcourt...Haha.)
We were looking at shops with really nice
Clothes for guys,
And the topic somehow wandered to grad night...
Especially when we saw some
Really nice but expensive dresses.
Then we headed to our lunch destination,
Which required us to cross 6-7 traffic junctions.
Woah.
Took quite a while for me to recognise the route,
Reached at 11am.
But we didn't get lost,
Because there's me!!!

It's in this really quiet mall,
With this japanese food court.
It was opened at 11:30am.
Since we were early,
We went to cold storage,
And got glued to the shelf of recipe books.
I was drooling (figuratively please)
Over that book of chocolate yummies.
I was wishing I have my own kitchen and oven now,
Then you people will be in for a good treat.
That shelf made both out stomachs
Grumble like crazy.
Finally, 11:30am!!!
He bought house special ramen,
Which contains ramen(duh),
Scallops, prawn, salty egg.
I bought beef patty omelette rice.
They are yummy!
And made both of us really full.
There was also sushi.
Their sushi is only 70cents per piece,
Which is cheap!
Ours was this packet with four sushis-
Sotong, scallop, tau pok, unagi fish.
We kinda made a mess...haha.
Bought a bottle of milk tea at 7-11.
It usually cost 2bucks (according to him),
But he bought it for $1.30 just now.
Woah, offer?
I understand why he likes it...it's nice!
We then walked back to bugis.
Headed for the neoprints shop...
It's 11bucks!!! Ex!!!
Nevertheless, we still went for it.
Due to the fact that both of us
Not really photo people,
It turned out to be funny.
We only managed 5 poses
Within the time limit of 160 seconds.
I bullied him in 2 of the shots!!!
Haha!
Then the editing was also damn funny.
I hate the pen I was using.
And he only realised in the last 10 secs
That he left one photo unedited,
So he hastily dumped some
Hearts, stars and strawberries there.
Erm...
We had a hard time deciding
Who take which neoprint.
Lol.
Went to shop for mother's day gift for my mum.
Went to four gifts shop.
At action city,
There's this sweet container thingy.
Curious, I went to open the thing,
And got an electric shock!
He got it too when I mischievously passed it to him.
Guess it's for naughty kids who steal sweets at home.
I wanted to buy it for my mum,
But he told me too much electric shock can cause brain damage.
I don't know how true is that though...
In the end, I settled for this squirrel softie.
Very cute!!!
Less than 10bucks,
So my mum didn't kill me.
Went to kinokuniya,
And we were looking at some history books.
I hate wars, damn yuck!
Next was cinema.
No, we did not catch a movie.
But because I like to do things out of the ordinary,
So we bought regular sized sweet popcorn
And were sitting there eating.
Enjoyed spamming him with the popcorns...
=p
Because it was so cold,
We decided to go out for some fresh air.
As we were walking past this
Marriage agency roadshow,
The promoter almost came up to us...

I ended up so hysterical
People were probably thinking
That I'm crazy.
But it's really very funny!!!

To take a look at their wedding stuff.

I was trying to control myself

That goes all the way to the 4th floor.
There was this old man in front of us
Who was making these whistling sounds,
Like my grandpa does when he tries to make his birds chirp.
It totally spoiled the ambience.
And I couldn't stop laughing.
I think I got the laughing virus
After sitting for 1year plus next to huiting.
Thanks girl.
Anyways,
I got myself lots of eyes again.
And his hand was over my mouth again
To cover up my laughter.
We named him 'birdy old man'.
This is stupid.
There's already one cinema in bugis,
And they have another one in this new shopping centre.
What's with the competition?
Saw the preview of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
I tell you, if this is not better than the previous one,
I'm not going to watch it.
Though the preview looked interesting...
Forget it, I want to watch it.
Went to the arcade,
And looked at people playing the games.
The lesson I learnt?
Never ever under estimate little boys playing against adults.

Birthday peeps

Before the clock even strike 12,
Desmond already wished my Happy Birthday via msn
For fear of me going offline before 12.
Alas, I stayed online till 1.30am.
Whoops.
Panda eye birthday girl...
At his 12midnight and my 12 midnight,
He sent me smses.
Then I was reading other people's blogs
All the way till 1.30am.
Woken up at 5plus by his sms.
Then was so excited
That I was screaming deep in my brain
For the clock to show 6am.
Finally, it was 6am,
And I woke up.
Toilet used by sis then dad,
And I could only wash up at 6.15am.
Crap, wait 15mins to use the toilet...
Argh.
I meant it only as a joke,
But he really came,
And was waiting for me at the flat opposite.
Not only did he fetched me to school,
There was even breakfast made for me!
A bottle of milo he made
And this white kwey thingy that he bought.
So coincidentally,
I love that kwey, and has never told him before.
Wow. Telepathy? Haha.
Went up to class to deposit my lunchbox,
Then found Cher in her class.
Was so nice, and wrote on these encouragement thingy

Then went down to the parade square to find my friends.

Then numerous people saying "Happy Birthday" to me.

Because they were lighting candles(I think)
Before the lesson started.
During chemistry,
Mr Chew suddenly came over to say "Happy Birthday" to me.
It is because he saw on facebook...lol.
Shocked, but happy!!!
E.geog, the lesson huiting always whine about.
But well, I was multi tasking,
Listening to the lesson
And finishing the chem spa.
Oh well, I finished the work mr wong assigned,
So I don't have to worry about it now.
Ok, that's random.
Recess: Eating my lunch,
Which rebecca and zhiling helped me to polish off.
I was running around like a little kid.
Too bad, was too jumpy.
The suspense and excitement
Made it impossible for me to stick my butt onto the chair.
English lesson was when I turned as red as
Huiting's notebook cover.
We were doing groupwork.
Shili suddenly started singing the birthday song,
Then huiting and zhiling joined it,
And the song ended with
"Happy birthday to poo."
Very funny!!!
Evidently, mr cheng heard and asked whose birthday is it.
And my beloved friends shouted "triscilla poo"!
That resulted in the whole english class singing for me.
I was so freaking shy
That I didn't dare to look up.
When I finally did,
Huiting compared me to her notebook,
And I couldn't stop laughing.
Just when I was wishing that my birthday luck
Won't be so good that my group is going to present,
Mr cheng decided to choose the birthday girl's group.
Zzz.
But the presentation only required me
To read zhiling's well-written paragraphs,
Which was ok.
And the paragraphs zhiling wrote are really very nice!!!
After school,
Me and my girlfriends went to celebrate my birthday
At Hougang Point.
We were outside Macs because no place inside...
It was SUPER HOT!!!
Why did the rain earlier on stop???

Then the bus stop.

That I was screaming deep in my brain
For the clock to show 6am.
Finally, it was 6am,
And I woke up.
Toilet used by sis then dad,
And I could only wash up at 6.15am.
Crap, wait 15mins to use the toilet...
Argh.
I meant it only as a joke,
But he really came,
And was waiting for me at the flat opposite.
Not only did he fetched me to school,
There was even breakfast made for me!
A bottle of milo he made
And this white kwey thingy that he bought.
So coincidentally,
I love that kwey, and has never told him before.
Wow. Telepathy? Haha.
Went up to class to deposit my lunchbox,
Then found Cher in her class.
Was so nice, and wrote on these encouragement thingy
They have plastered on the wall
For every individual.
Wrote for Xinyi too!
Then went down to the parade square to find my friends.
Got this big hug from Nad,
Then numerous people saying "Happy Birthday" to me.
Little side tracking,
But the weather was SUPER HUMID!!!
I was sweating(as usual)
And I could feel sweat trickling down my face and back
While having morning assembly.
Not much happened in biology,
Except that people kind of already knew about the cake
Because they were lighting candles(I think)
Before the lesson started.
During chemistry,
Mr Chew suddenly came over to say "Happy Birthday" to me.
It is because he saw on facebook...lol.
Shocked, but happy!!!
E.geog, the lesson huiting always whine about.
But well, I was multi tasking,
Listening to the lesson
And finishing the chem spa.
Oh well, I finished the work mr wong assigned,
So I don't have to worry about it now.
Ok, that's random.
Recess: Eating my lunch,
Which rebecca and zhiling helped me to polish off.
I was running around like a little kid.
Too bad, was too jumpy.
The suspense and excitement
Made it impossible for me to stick my butt onto the chair.
English lesson was when I turned as red as
Huiting's notebook cover.
We were doing groupwork.
Shili suddenly started singing the birthday song,
Then huiting and zhiling joined it,
And the song ended with
"Happy birthday to poo."
Very funny!!!
Evidently, mr cheng heard and asked whose birthday is it.
And my beloved friends shouted "triscilla poo"!
That resulted in the whole english class singing for me.
I was so freaking shy
That I didn't dare to look up.
When I finally did,
Huiting compared me to her notebook,
And I couldn't stop laughing.
Just when I was wishing that my birthday luck
Won't be so good that my group is going to present,
Mr cheng decided to choose the birthday girl's group.
Zzz.
But the presentation only required me
To read zhiling's well-written paragraphs,
Which was ok.
And the paragraphs zhiling wrote are really very nice!!!
After school,
Me and my girlfriends went to celebrate my birthday
At Hougang Point.
We were outside Macs because no place inside...
It was SUPER HOT!!!
Why did the rain earlier on stop???

Stalked
Yikes!
This is the second time in my whole life
That I got stalked.
First time was by someone I knew,
Today's second time was by a total stranger.
I was sitting at a void deck studying biology,
And there was this guy kept walking back and forth there.
Because he was on the phone
And like waiting for someone,
So I didn't think too much.
When I was walking home,
The guy was like walking in the same direction as me.
That's when I started to get suspicious.
Suddenly, when walking towards me,
He stopped me.
At first, I thought he was asking for directions
Because my mp3 was blasting
And I couldn't hear him.
Then when I removed my earpiece,
He said (in chinese): "Can I get to know you?"
I was shocked, so I "huh?" at him.
He repeated what he said,
And I asked, "Why do you want to know me?"
He said, "Just to make friends."
I said "no thanks" and quickly walked off.
Woah!
Wth?!?!
I was so shocked and scared
That my first thought was to call my boy
Then I started crying.
Scary la!!!
Never ever get yourself stalked...
It's a scary experience.
Argh!!!
Okok... On to my day.
Recess... spent at hideout with him.
I was making him in my bread and beehoon,
Because don't want him to starve!
He like very tired,
I'm so worried about him.

He got 24/25 too for his hist test!!!
I say lurh, he can do it.
So stop being depressed ok my dear?
I got 32/40 for a.maths test.
Finally, my first A for a.maths in ages...
Yay!!!
He got 37/40... so clever.
I'm so proud of you!!!

After school, I kind of emo-ed.
Because I can't stand loneliness...
Haiz.
But I know he's doing things for me,

Undying Excitement!
Despite the fact that
My dad just gave me a half an hour long lecture,
I'm not going to let that temper my mood.
I just chat with my grandma on the phone.
She sounds stronger now.
Yippee!!!
And when I asked her,
She told me she's going to be discharged in the next two days.
I promised her that I'll go to her house to visit her,
So I'll have to persuade my
Irritating and lazy mum to let me go.
She can be really unreasonable... Argh.
But well,
That's one of the best birthday present till now!
The other one is my history test.
My jaws dropped when mr pah said I got
24/25.
Woah.
Am I dreaming?
Probably this shows that I should do SBQ 1st in exams...
And work on my time management!
But still,
I wish that he, the history pro,
Can get full marks!
Well, that's the other great birthday present this week.
Oh man.
I'm like bursting with joy!
I have never felt so enthusiastic and hyper and jumpy before.
Until this week.
Haha!
I can't wait!!!

The sad thing is,
That means it's getting nearer to
Chinese O's!!!
*Freak out.

So moving on to the big day in 3 days time...
MY BIRTHDAY!!!
Really, I'm super excited this year.
Probably because there will be surprises and more to expect this year!
So I came up with this list
Of how I wish my birthday to be like.
I was ranting everything to him over the phone
While he frantically typed it.
Haha!
So here's the edited version of the list!

I'll be staying up to countdown to my own birthday.
So dump me any well wishes
Between 11pm-1am
And I'll still be wide awake.
Wake-up time:
Someone wake me up with a peck on my cheek.
And that someone, you know who you are.
But this is impossible at the moment.
So stop dreaming!

Breakfast:
Cheap - Cereal in warm milk (especially chocoballs)
Expensive - McDonald hotcakes
Just thinking about these makes me hungry,
At this hour of the day...
Morning:
Going to school with a light bag
Is like... erm, depends on timetable ba.
If only I can don't walk to school on my own,
Because it's horribly lonely
To sing to yourself as you walk to school.
In school:
Although I'll be extremely happy
If many people remember my birthday,
I still don't intend to make it a big hoo-ha.
So if my beloved girl friends want to celebrate my birthday for me,
I hope it will not be done at the canteen.
The spot behind the library back door???
And I'll blush all the way to the roots of my hair,

I don't wish for much,

Warm Chocolate milk/Warm Milk...
Isn't it great to warm your tummy then go to sleep?

Parenting Tips (Part1)
This is from the viewpoint of a teenager...
The following are things parents should take note of.
Don't act like you know it all.
Yes, your child grew up under your care.
But that doesn't mean they don't change.
Renew your understanding of your child,
And not blindly believe that
You always understand your child the best.
Don't compare your child with others.
This is a big NO-NO!
If you think this is a way to 'motivate' your child
To be as guai as these people,
Well, it just won't work.
Your child will just hate you more.
Don't gossip about your own children.
Especially for mothers...
Don't talk good or bad about your own children.
Just like you won't want others to talk bad behind you.
Don't do it.
Don't push all blame and responsibility to your children.
Don't find fault over small matters.
Just admit it if you are at fault.
Humans do make mistakes.
You are on the demon's path
If you think you are always right
And your kids are always wrong.
If you want your face, so does your child!
Don't blame them for everything.
It will just demonstrate your lack of judgment,
And make your kids disappointed in you.
Set a good role model for your children.
Nurture them with the right values from young.
Caning is no longer the way to discipline children.
Neither is scolding.
Don't shout or scream at your family!
That is the olden times already.
Times have changed.
Scolding will just result in more severe rebellion.
Best is to talk nicely to your chis,
And spend more time with them.
Show your love and care boldly.
Don't be shy!
Encourage your children.
Don't throw them sarcastic remarks,
Especially when their mood is down in the dumps.
My parents never fail to tell me
"Told you you won't win.
Waste of time.
That school so good, you all so lousy"
When I came back home from a debate competition I just lost.
Comforting words? No.
As if I didn't already feel like crying.
I'm always glad when I win
So that they will shut up and stop talking.
Ya, that's it,
They won't even say anything
Neither the good nor bad
When I win.
And they just keep on yabbering when I lost.
Arg!
That's not all...
No time to finish typing everything today.
Just because she wakes up early in the morning
To cook for us,
It doesn't make my mum an angel.
I mean, she later sleeps from 8am-12pm,
Watch tv and nap again in the afternoon,
Sleep at 7plus at night.
So is she having a tough life
Compared to mine?
No.
And she expects me to wake up early in the morning
To do housework
When I'm not even getting enough sleep.
She keeps saying my friends or her friends' children
Will iron their own clothes blah blah blah...
Oh please,
Out of 10, 9 of her friends' children
Make their mum do everything.
So applies for my friends.
She can't appreciate the fact that I'm actually doing 3/4 of the housework,
While my 12-years-old sis just act innocent,
And her friends are having a tough life
Slogging like bulls.
In short, she's over pampered
By my useless dad,
Who can't instill a single bit of discipline into his wife.
I was trying my best not to laugh out loud
When she was throwing temper today.
Seriously, reminds me of childish kids.
Rofl.
5 more years, and I'll be gone.
To a place where I belong.
The following are things parents should take note of.

Relieved
This is the best news of the day.
MY GRANDMA IS BETTER NOW!!!

She can finally talk lurh.
Thank goodness...
I'm bursting with joy now!!!
I just hope she will be fine from now on,
And can be discharged from the hospital by next week.
That will be one of the best birthday presents for me!!!

Ok, since I didn't blog yesterday,
I must talk about the troubles that swine flu has brought.
After going with my mum to the temple,
We went to the hospital yesterday.
We reached at about 10.50am.
For the first time in my whole life,
I saw a whole group of hospital stuff at the entrance,
Wearing masks and talking to those people there.
When I went over to them,
This guy asked me what was my purpose for visit.
I told him I was there to visit my grandma.
Then I was told that the visiting hour
Is from 12pm to 2pm.
So I was supposed to wait.
Fed up,
My mum and I went to have lunch
At the nearby shopping centre.
Then went to the hospital via the linkbridge when it was 12noon.
We had to stand in this red square on the floor,
Then this camera for dunno what purpose,
After which we had to take a mask each,
Register our names,
Given a sticker (1 every 2 people..),
And finally into the hospital.
Woah.
My brain was boggled by the registration procedures.
Met my uncle, dad, and sis when we got in.
Went to the eye center where my grandma was having her eyes checked.
She looked so fragile...
That's when I know
The fragility of life.
It prompted me to treasure my own life.
Next troublesome thing:
Only one visitor was allowed for each patient.
There were multiple staff guarding the lifts,
And lots of people crowded there.
In the end,
The only way to get up was for us to go separately,
And fake that we are the only visitor for that patient.
I needed the sticker to get through,
So I waited for my uncles to get down,
Then my dad and I went up.
I cried.
Seeing my grandma in so much pain...
Luckily her fever was finally gone,
But she kept choking in her sleep.
Haiz...
When she woke up,
She kept looking at me,
So I went over to her and held her hand,
And she squeezed my hand so tightly.
That's when I lost control,
And the tears started dripping.
I tried not to let my grandma see,
But I think my dad saw me wiping away my tears...
BUT.............
I'm so glad now,
She's better lurh!!!!!
Thanks to those who comforted me
And wished my grandma well.
I love you my grandma!!!
You must live to a ripe old age,
And see me get married ok?
I want to show you the best
Grandson-in-law you can ever get.
