Sleepy

I woke up at 5am today!
Because the whole family was going with my sis to her school...
Lol, her first year in a new school,
And it's like a family outing.
=.=

So, I was super tired on the bus trip to her school.
We reached at 6.35am,
Though her reporting time is 7.45am.
Tsk.
Btw, my sis successfully enrolled in Northlight School,
And I'm super happy for her.
Finally, she's in a place where she belongs...
=D

Stoned until the teacher made an announcement
For us to report to the school hall.
My sis's school is damn cool,
Because it has a 'east wing' and a 'west wing'.
The school is made up of 2 school buildings,
When those previous 2 schools moved out.
Hence the big school.

My sister is in class 1A2,
And the special thing about their classes is this.
There are classes 1S1, 1T1, 1A1, 1A2, 1R1 and 1R2 for the first years.
Realise that the alphabets form the word 'STAR'?
The S stands for seeker,
T for tracker,
A for adventurer,
And R for ranger.
There's even meaning behind the school uniform's colour.
The white represents the tinkling white star,
And the purple represents the night sky,
Hence the whole idea is that the students are the bright stars shining in darkness.

The principal's speech was very long.
I loved their videos, very touching.
And my sis's teacher seemed nice.
Her name is Ms Pang.
My sister seems to enjoy the new environment,
Though she's still quite shy to make friends.
I'm really very happy for her,
And proud of my little sis.

After that, went to work.
Super lethargic...
Was wishing for a comfy bed to sleep.
And I hate annoying parents who complain about pointless things.
Thank goodness the office staff and my auntie support me.
And oh ya, someone called me auntie.
TSK!
I'm still a pretty young lady ok?

Haiz, wanna have a good night sleep now.
Waking up at 6am tmr to send my sis to school,
Then go to work.

How many of you actually wash your sibling's undergarments?
How many of you do multiple houseworks at home,
Ranging from scrubbing the toilet to scrubbing your clothes,
Mopping the floor to wiping all the windows?
Because I've to do all that,
And my parents don't appreciate my efforts at all.
Instead, they say I'm lazy,
When I do all these daily.
I'm not even spared after a grueling day in school or at work.

My mum acts like she knows everything,
My dad is a bootlicker.
Maybe they should stop thinking they know everything,
Because my goody-two-shoes sister is not as simple as she appears.

Those of you who have nice parents, cherish them.
Because you won't want a control freak for a mother,
A useless bum for a father...
And oh well, my sister is the only comfort at home,
Ganging up with me.

Haiz, I know i'm complaining,
But hey,
How not to when you have parents like mine?
I'm glad I've my sis, and James.
Not to forget, my friends.

02012010 - '02 class gathering!

I just realised that our class 02 gathered on the 2nd day of the year...
Ok, i'm lame.
Just happened to realise that while typing the title...

We were supposed to meet at 1pm outside amk hub's cathay,
But when I reached the cinema at around 12.45pm,
I only saw james.
And I couldn't do anything cos my mum was with me.
=.=
By 1pm, there was darren leong, daniel, james and i.
I think everybody only arrived at about 1.30pm.
Finally decided on watching sherlock holmes,
Which turned out to be good.
Very exciting... =D
My 10bucks was well spent...
An interesting thing to mention:
It was the first time I have seen such a long string of tickets...
Haha!

The movie started at 3.45pm,
So James and I went to the library to return and borrow books from 2-3pm.
We were supposed to meet outside the cinema at 3pm,
But the guys were missing,
So after waiting for a while,
James called them and we went to find them at ntuc.
Our group of 18 people then went for the movie,
Which ended at 6pm.
So we were way behind schedule.
And I was sitting between james and daniel.

For dinner, some people went for steamboat,
While the rest of us went to eat at the coffee shop.
I was the only girl in the coffee shop crowd.
Ate chicken chop hor fan, same for james.
Kinda fun, had interesting conversations that made me laugh like crazy.
^^

While waiting for the steamboat crowd,
The guys went to LAN and came out again (?),
Then we sat at the railing outside the big hawker centre.
After we gathered, james and i detached from the crowd and left.
Sorry people, i had a curfew to meet... argh.
So the rest went to zhiling's house.

On the whole, the gathering was fantastic!
We didn't manage to go to kbox in the end,
But we still enjoyed ourselves!

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!!

Didn't manage to blog on the last day of 2009,
But nvm, here's a lengthy post on the first day of 2010!

Today has been a good start to the year for me.
Though I don't have james with me,
I'm learning to enjoy without him around.
No offense my dear!

Woke up at 10 plus.
Actually, I woke up with a shock at 7 plus,
And was like, shit i'm late for work.
Then I remembered that yesterday was my last day of work for the week,
And I fell back into dreamland.
Lol, my sister got a shock when I suddenly sat up,
Then fell back onto bed again.

Mum asked me for the recipes i collected from the back of cornflake boxes,
And we decided to make the brownies.
It was tiring beating the eggs till they turn pale and thick,
But it's definitely more fun then working at the bookshop.
I'm sick of doing the same things everyday...
Baking is my passion!
The end products are really yummy!
I'm so glad,
Cos for once, my mum allowed me to do the things on my own.
So I can safely say that the brownies today were made by me!
Hopefully, I can persuade my mum to let me bring some tmr
So that a lucky few of you can try.

Super happy that my mum allows me to go for the class gathering tomorrow!

Since I slept early last night and didn't watch.

And I'm very proud of myself for learning how to use my new all-in-one printer so quickly.

Was initially pissed with the scanner,
Because scanning a book is a super tough job.
But now, I'm very happy!

Went to hougang mall with mum and sis,
Bought a new shirt for 10 bucks,

Did housework...

At least I was occupied with things to do,

Felt like posting again...
Dunno why.

Sometimes I wonder,
What if the movie 2012 really materialises?
What will I do?

I think the first thing I'll do is rush to find james.
After all,
I can't die without him.
Missing him those 4 days when he was gone to malaysia was bad enough.
And it was right after a cold war.
Haiz, sore.
Didn't even get a nice talk before he left.

That experience has made me learn.
Though I still throw tantrums sometimes,
But I've learnt to be more understanding.

Even my bookshop auntie angie says I've got a gem.
I told her how my mum is very appearance based,
And she agrees with me that's horrible.
She said my james is super hardworking,
And a super good boy who is hard to find.
She said I must cherish him, hold on to him tightly and never let him go.
Trust me, I'll do just that.
Let him go?
Never in a infinity years...

Mushy, I know.
But how do singles understand how we feel?
I've the urge to scream to the whole wide world that
I LOVE JAMES!

Nobody is going to stand in our way.
The memories and likings that we have built together over the past few months...
Can you believe that I got him interested in fiction?
He's more concerned than me about the H.I.V.E. series now...

Vexed

Work this week has been horrible.
Staying overtime for one plus hour without any overtime pay,
Packing horribly heavy packs of books,
Dealing with some rude and scary customers...
Argh.
The day of sec 1 orientation,
I almost died.
That stupid girl who's one year younger than me,
And came only on that day supposedly to help,
Was a bloody slacker.
Not only was she slow...
She was applying nail polish while I was carrying heavy books from the classroom to the bookshop!!!
WTH!!!
I had the urge to go and scold her at that time.
And she got to go off on time while I slogged my guts out.
TSK TSK TSK!!!

Today was the worst.
Auntie Angie and I were outside serving the customers,
While Dong Dong (my partner) was in the bookshop packing the books.
The bookshop is so scaringly small that it has hardly space for anything.
It's hard to manoeuvre in there without getting blue-blacks all over.
Haiz...
Then this irritating customer came.

Firstly, he and his daughter came without the booklist.
So I had to be troubled to find him a new booklist amongst the mess in the bookshop.
Then, I let them tick the books they need while I attended to another customer.
The saturday crowd is always horrible,
So I had to hasten my speed and multitask.
In order to serve as many customers as possible,
I let the father and daughter choose the books they want,
While I got another lady behind them to pass me her booklist for my partner to pack,
And continued to serve my present customer.
While I was calculating the prices,
This father suddenly said something along the lines of:
"Ask the lady behind me don't stand there. Later people think she cut queue."
I was already very flustered at that time, so I just said "huh?"
Then he said "never mind".

Because of the blackout in the bookshop,
It was very hard to find the books,
So my partner couldn't be fast in packing the books.
As the sec 1 books were already packed cos of the sec 1 orientation,
I attended to a customer buying sec 1 books first,
While my partner continued to pack the books.

Suddenly, the crazy man shouted at me,
"I don't like your service.
I wait for so long already, but my book's still not ready".
When in fact, he only passed me his booklist 1 minute ago.
I wanted to shout back at him, and get him to understand the situation,
But I swallowed my anger, and tried to put up with him.
I continued to serve the customer buying sec 1 books,
But he continued shouting.
So after I finished serving my sec 1 customer,
I could not take it anymore.
When I can't flare up,
My seemingly controlled emotions will cause my tear glands to be activated.
So I ran into the bookshop and started crying.
My very shocked partner told me not to cry,
And he went out to serve the customers while I stayed in the bookshop.
He was very rude to that evil customer, not that I cared.
I cried for more than half an hour,
Couldn't control my active tear glands.

I cannot stand being unreasonably scolded.
Back at home, I'm already screamed at for no reasons.
It's like a phobia, phobia of being shouted at.
What's wrong with people?
Is it so hard to be more understanding???

If not for some of the things keeping me alive,
I'll be dead now.
Really.

402 class chalet

I just realised I have not blogged about the fantastic class chalet!
And it's almost one month already...
Nvm, shall recall everything I can remember.

16.November.2009 Monday

I spent my whole morning preparing the 16 stars for my mum,
As this day is her birthday.
A bit hard to surprise her,
Because she kept wandering into my room while I was doing the stars.

Nick Lim and James came to my house at around 1.30pm.
Each of them carried 30 tea eggs,
While I carried the salad stuff.
Kinda funny when James came with the plastic box,
And my mum asked him what's inside.
He told my mum it's a piece of cake his mum let him bring to eat at chalet.
LOL.
But at least my mum didn't suspect anything.
So I hid the cake in the fridge, and hid the 16 stars in 16 different places.
The 3 of us left my house at about 2pm and boarded bus 88 to pasir ris interchange.

We had a hard time locating the taxi stand where we were supposed to board the shuttle bus,
Because the taxi stand didn't give any hints of it being the place where we were supposed to board the shuttle bus.
=.=
When to the shopping centre for me to buy 2 packets of biscuits.
The we boarded the shuttle bus at 3.15pm.
It was drizzling while we were waiting for the shuttle bus,
So nicky took out his umbrella to shelter us.
The taxi stand was too packed, so the need for an umbrella.

Reached the chalet, and found our sea view terrace 3.
It's big! And nice!
The basketball court is right outside,
And the guys went to play soccer there.
The 3 of us were quit early, since not many people were there when we reached.

Helped with peeling onions and garlic, together with april, wei ming, randolph, darren leong and ms yeo.
Took over darren leong's task of chopping garlic and relieved april of splattering garlic.
Helped a bit with the cooking.
I love it, because kitchen is my heaven!!!
Haha!

Dinner was fried rice, bbq stuff, tea eggs.
April and I couldn't stand the sticky floor in the kitchen,
So we found mops and a pail.
When a water war of water bombs was occuring outside,
James and I were mopping the kitchen,
And we made it out of bounds to the rest.
Anybody envious of my good boy?

Mr chan and Ms tan came!
We watched a video that was produced by a group of our lovely classmates after our o's ended.
Seriously, that photo of james and i was totally unnecessary.
=.=
Presented gifts to the teachers and scholars,
And all of them made speeches.
Wei ming represented the locals and made a speech,
While james and i were 'sabotaged' to make a speech.
And what I said was true, really.
Thanks my lovely 402!!!
But I was really very shy to be made to stand there with james la...tsk.
And my voice was already hoarse from all the cheering and laughing.
The scholars also gave us the badge thingy they made,
Not to forget april, becca, vivath and sonal's cookies!
Really sweet of them!
Must also thank ms yeo for everything!!!

Bathed, and wanted to sleep,
Because needed to work the next day.
But the lack of a proper sleeping place resulted in me not being able to sleep.
So James and I sat at the stairs.
I was trying to sleep, while he was playing psp.
Sighs, an unsuccessful attempt to sleep.

Rock band was realy fun!
I sang Maroon 5's Makes Me Wonder,
Since that was the only song I knew.

17.November.2009 Tuesday

While everyone else went to send off the scholars,
James and I went in search of the way to get to bartley sec.
Ate hotcakes at mac at tampines for breakfast,
And took bus22 to my workplace.

First day at work was kinda tiring,
Especially since I didn't get any sleep.
Yawns...
Finally, off from work.
Met James at tampines.
Since we missed the shuttle bus, we went to shop at white sands,
And got free macs apple pie and some snack pack thingy.
When we realised that we had to wait another hour for the shuttle bus,
We decided to walk back to the chalet.
Fatal decision.

It started raining cats and dogs when we finally reached downtown east.
Thank goodness I had an umbrella.
And it was a really long and tiring walk.
When we finally reached aloha loyang,
We were kinda soaked.
When we reached the class chalet,
It was all dark, and we thought that everyone else had gone out for dinner.
Thanks goodness we called wei ming, and he came to unlock the door for us.

James was feeling unwell when we joined the rest.
Must have been cos he stubbornly pushed the umbrella to me.
We bathed, then I went to attend to him.
He was sleeping, and I was so worried.
Made him a cup of milo,
And sat at the side of the bed, worrying.
Thankfully, he felt better, or I'll be very guilty.

Watched a movie...

Finally, I got to sleep!

18.November.2009 Wednesday

Woke up at 6am.
Packed up, prepared to leave.
Left at around 7.50am with james to the seab board.
Walked out, took a bus to pasir ris interchange.
Took mrt to tiong bahru.
Mistook a seab branch for the one we were looking for.
Walked very long till we found the right one.
His 'interview'(interrogation) thing was at 10am.
It ended faster than expected.

Shopped for a while at tiong bahru plaza,
Before going home.



I miss 402!!!
Another class gathering soon?
And let's have chalet every year ok?

6.1 outing - The day itself

The outing was a success!!!
Ming Jing came to my house to meet me,
Then we went to ang mo kio mrt station.
The group of people present were:
Rachel, Isella, Brian, Bradley, Timothy, Daryl, Jie Sheng, Nick Khaw.
Including Ming Jing and I, ten people were there.
Nick Siew came later.
For those of us who were starving, we went to buy lunch.
I bought McChicken meal at Macs,
And I don't understand why the guys were eating ice-creams,
Supposedly for lunch. =.=
Waited for brian, who was waiting for his Mos Burger meal.
Then we set off for mdm goh's house.

Taking the lift all the way to the 26th floor always cause my ears to be blocked.
Mdm Goh opened the door, and we went in.
Little Raine looked so much like when Rae was young!!!
The two of them very cute, kept running around.
Although Raine fell down a few times and cried. =(
Raine still can't talk, so she was screaming all the time.
Whereas Rae kept screaming when she ran to the dining table and saw us.
Lol, the guys said she was scared of us girls...
><

Everyone was too shy to talk,
So we went on a round-the-table self intro.
Everyone was supposed to say something about themselves.
Thanks to Nick Khaw, I ended up talking about me and my boyfriend.
Nevertherless, it was good to make everyone talk,
As we could catch up on the latest info about one another.

We each paid $3.60 for the 2 soft toy dogs (which i didn't get to see... =.=).
Mdm Goh looked very shocked when she thought we got her real live dogs,
Thanks to the way Brian presented the gift to her.

Took photos before we left.
Mdm Goh and her family went out,
While the rest of us decided on where to go for movie.
After going back and forth between amk hub and jubilee,
They finally decided to catch their movie at amk hub.
So the crowd who went for movie included:
Ming Jing, Isella, Brian, Timothy, Nick Siew, Daryl and Yi Xiong (who came much later and didn't get to meet mdm goh...).
I didn't go cos need to save money, and I think my mum would kill me.
Went with them to ntuc to get food,
Then they went into the cinema at about 5.40pm to watch Case 39.

I left them, and went to amk national library.
Borrowed the 2nd and 3rd bookd of the H.I.V.E. series!
=D

Saw my aunt, uncle, and little cousin Cheryl at a drinks stall,
But didn't go over to greet them.
I dunno why...
Then met mel.
She was there to buy polo tee for work.
Since we were heading for different places, we separated.
I boarded bus 88 home.
